Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. Her mother is English and her father is Nigerian. She was raised in the South London Council Estate, and then went to The Brit School aged 14. She graduated with a BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. At the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. Her popularity resulted in her being cast as Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she got Bambi's part on the ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on both series 2 and 3. Madekwe also appeared on the comedic How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). Her theatre credits are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport on the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just two weeks on The CW and then it ended. She was cast in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. In May of 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe, who been a series regular in the two previous seasons, was to leave the series with a guest appearance on the premiere episode of the new season. She played Tituba in the program Salem from 2014 to. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he had a role alongside her on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. She was raised by both parents Roy and Patty along with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's brothers, who were all very physically active, were all playing hockey during the winters and baseball in the summer, so she basically grew up in baseball and arenas. Ashley could never walk, however she did dance. When she turned two-and-a-half she began Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley became a dancer since that time. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and more. She was crowned the top soloist awards at all of the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
