Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, born in Decatur the state of Illinois on the 23rd July 1971, is a well-known and rich Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Krauss were the two newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. Alison Krauss started her career in music early, winning local competitions at the age of 10. She recorded for the first time at age 14. The year 1985 saw her signing with Rounder Records. Her first solo album debuted in 1987. She joined the group with which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in the year 1989.
